Hello and welcome to my family's home page! My name is Stephen Loeb. As you can see my family is spread across the U.S. We developed this Home Page as a vehicle for updating our family and friends on Loeb happenings.

Meet the Loeb's:

Stephen Loeb resides in Rockville, Maryland.  Stephen was born Frankfurt, Germany and fortunately was able to immigrate to the United States before the holocaust.  Stephen married Sarane Starr and is the proud father of three sons and has eight grand children.  After

David He later founded S. Loeb & Co. and Delmar Fashion Accessories. He succeeded his father as President of Oppenheimer Brothers Inc.

 Stephen Gunther LOEB (Hebrew: Shmuel Menahem) stephengloeb@gmail.com, was born 19 July 1928, Frankfurt on Main, Germany named Günter Manfred Stefan LOEB. His name was Americanized to Stephen Gunther LOEB upon his immigration to U.S. Stephen LOEB graduated Roosevelt University in Business Administration. He followed his father as President of OPPENHEIMER Brothers Inc. Founded S. LOEB & Co. and Collegiate Delmar Group. Married 14 August 1960 to Sarane Rochelle (Sarah Rachel) STARR, University of Chicago graduate, high school math teacher, University of Chicago Lab School (born 27 September 1934 Chicago, d. 3 June 2005 = 25 Iyar, Chicago, buried Oakridge Jewish Cemetery, Block 42, Lot 48). David & Maureen Loeb live in Lake Mary, Florida. They are the proud parents of Kathleen.  David is President of Clear Village. He is an avid golfer, national bridge champion, and an avid tennis player. He attended University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign . He was awarded 2 patents in Artificial Intelligence (patent 4849905 and patent 4890240) while working at IBM's Watson Research Center.  Contact by email.

Maureen Loeb is a Director at the Palm Computing subsidiary of USRobotics. She spends her spare time playing golf, bridge, and reading. She is a graduate of The University of Notre Dame and holds an MBA from Santa Clara University. Contact by email.

Robert & Julia Loeb live in Bethesda, Maryland.  Robert and Julia are both graduates of the University of Chicago. Robert is an attorney for the United States Department of Justice. Robert and Julia are the proud parents of Talia, Jonah, and Ezra. Talia is a big fan of Winnie the Pooh and enjoys reading and swimming.  Talia will be entering second grade at the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School.  Jonah's favorite activity is to play "Rescue Heroes."  Ezra loves to play with Talia and Jonah, and enjoys walks around the neighborhood.

Daniel & Hélène Loeb live in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. 

Daniel is a graduate of the California Institute of Technology. Daniel received his Ph.D. from MIT's Department of Mathematics.  Daniel is Chargé de Recherche working for the Centre National de la Recherche Scientique at the Laboratoire Bordelais de Recherche en Informatique of the Université de Bordeaux in France. Daniel is a Quantitative Research Associate at Susquehanna International Group, LLP, using advanced technology and mathematics to select winning stocks. Daniel enjoys the game Diplomacy, reading science fiction and playing with Gabrielle, Jonathan and Benjamin.

Hélène was born in in Toulouse. Hélène recently received a Ph.D. in control theory from the Physics Department of the University de Bordeaux Hélène's Ph.D. Thesis was on the design of an an autonomous boat for the Port of Bordeaux. Hélène enjoys swimming and playing the piano.

Daniel and Hélène are the proud parents of Gabrielle and Jonathan. Gabrielle is an editor of the the Philadelphia Jewish Voice, and enjoys jazz dancing and playing the piano. Jonathan is a big sports fan and takes full advantage of the playgrounds in Wynnewood.
